Dr. Adrian Michalicek is a graduate of the USAF Academy and former active duty USAF officer. During his early assignments,
he earned several advanced degrees while leading research teams across multiple agencies before returning to the Academy to serve as a Professor, Professional Ethics Advisor,
Academic Advisor and Admissions Counselor which he continued into civilian life at several colleges and universities in Colorado. As a disabled veteran and single father of
four kids, he served as a senior business executive for Lockheed Martin and continued working as a private consultant across many fields of science, engineering, business
and finance before retiring in order to establish The Bona Vias Foundation.
Dr. Teresa Núñez is the former Director of Operations at the Immigrant and Refugee Center of Northern Colorado where she
saw countless clients in need of financial services. Working multiple jobs as a single mother while trying to put herself through school taught her many valuable financial
lessons and sparked her desire to help the less privileged and most vulnerable populations and to earn her American Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator certificate.
Currently, she is the Director of Human Resources for the City of Edgewater, where she serves the staff and prioritizes a welcoming and safe work culture.
Her educational background includes two BA degrees, a MS in Human Resource Management and a PhD in Strategic Leadership.
Jon Rager completed an accounting degree at the University of Maryland, College Park, and began his career as an intern with
worldwide accounting firm KPMG. He became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) while working as an auditor with Dixon Hughes Goodman (formerly Goodman and Company) and later
went on to work for Lockheed Martin and as an adjunct instructor at Arapahoe Community College. He now serves as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) with Edward Jones where
he advises individuals, business owners, and families how to maximize their good decisions, minimize their bad ones, and help them achieve their goals like buying real estate,
paying for education, preparing for the unexpected, and retiring.
Subject Matter Experts
Aileda Lindal is a seasoned entrepreneur who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table, including a deep
understanding of quantum physics, neuroscience, and epigenetics. With a proven track record of facilitating breakthroughs, including coaching executives at Fortune 500 companies,
consulting on trade agreements for The White House, and assisting individuals finding their true passion, she is committed to helping clients overcome limitations and reach new
heights. She currently operates her own business as an independent transformational coach where she specializes in uncovering and developing hidden potential, both personally
and within organizations of all sizes and scopes.
Staff, Interns and Volunteers
Amanda Mayock earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. She currently works in the
Client Services industry where she specializes in Veterinary Care due to her passion for helping animals and their families.
Megan Michalicek is a full-time student at Utah State University where she is majoring in Biology. When not working with The Bona Vias Foundation, she also works as a Sales Associate at Petsmart.
